Hair Clip Covers
4x4 Hoop
Hoop a layer of tear away stabilizer
Run color 1 placement line
Place felt or a piece of felt and your choice of pretty fabric over the lines
And run color 2. This is your tack down.
If you cover has a sewn design, this will run next. If not, turn hoop over to the back
And place a piece of felt over the lines. Use tape to secure. Put hoop back on machine
And run your last color, this is another tack down.
Take project off of machine and trim away excess stabilizer and fabrics.
Using your clip as a guide, place on back and clip an opening for the clip to
Slip into. Gently pull felt over the hoop on the rounded edge to cover.
To run the design that goes on the Clip cover, hoop another piece of wss, run placement line....place felt or fabric over this line and run tack down. Your design, monogram etc will run next. Once that is completed, place a piece of matcing fabric over the back of the project and run final stitching. Take off of machine and trim. Place on Clip cover and secure with craft glue or hand stitch.
